Glasgow Council Funds Gay Porn

GaySCOTLAND – £82,500 pounds worth of Glasgow taxpayers money has been awarded to organisers of a homosexual festival that will screen sordid pornographic films as part of a celebration of ‘queer culture’ in Glasgow next month.
The films include the promotion of homosexual and transsexual sex and are defended by ‘Glasgay!’ festival organisers as educational. The festival brochure descriptions suggests otherwise with, “a combination of documentary and pornography”, “not afraid to show transmen enjoying sex” and “explores sexual practise” among the comments littering the reviews.
In total £167,000 of public cash has been given to fund the £200,000 event, whose promotional material also admits that it will feature an exhibition ridiculing ‘heterosexual culture’. Glasgow City Council will contributed £27,500 a year for the next three years.
The grant from the Council comes on the back of savage cutbacks on services provided by the Council as it tries desperately to plug a multi-million pound deficit in its budget. Sources within the council claim every budget is being ‘squeezed’.

Hard working council workers were recently told they faced a three year wage freeze to fund the £60 million need to meet the recent long overdue equal pay deal. Glasgow BNP have fielded calls from several angry council employees outraged that money denied to them will be used to promote gay porn instead.
BNP spokesman Kenny Smith, criticised the Council saying, “This Labour run council have lost the plot. With one hand they are cutting back on services that affect Glasgow citizens across the board and with the other they are dishing out huge sums so a minority can view gay porn.”
He added, “The British National Party calls for the grant to be withdrawn and used for more pressing matters than the need show such graphic filth to a tiny minority. £80,000 would be more than welcomed by countless youth projects around the city.”
Other sources of funding for the gay porn event include public service union and notorious Labour donors Unison, the Scottish Arts Council, Event Scotland and The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.
